'??? ??¡¯? ??? ???????(TOPIK)¢ò ?? ?? ?? ?? (Analysis of Writing Answers for the TOPIK II Using the ¡®Cohesion Device¡¯)

This study specifically analyzed the ¡®cohesion devices¡¯ characteristics of the overall problems types in the intermediate and advanced writing areas for the TOPIK¢ò where the most greatest change occurs after the change of the test system that is recognized by the efforts to reform the authority and evaluation of the Korean language proficiency test system. This study was based on the foundation of the related prior research and the standards of the writing evaluation system especially by approaching the analysis background of the theories of ¡®cohesion devices¡¯ and ¡®text categories and text functions¡¯ in text linguistics. We analyzed and presented the types of ¡®cohesion devices¡¯ can be used and applied in answering the actual questions types of the three types of questions in the TOPIK writing area, focusing on the characteristics of ¡®Completing the Sentence¡¯, ¡®Paragraph Writing¡¯, and ¡®Writing Composition¡¯. Using the research results analyzed in this study, we hope that it could be benefit for the foreigner learners who challenge the writing field, so well as to provide basic materials for learning Korean that can be used in the educational field.
