The two works compared in this study, "Taepoong" by Choi In-hoon and "Some Typhoon" by C¨¦saire, directly or indirectly contain the history of predators in Korea and Africa, and Shakespeare's "Taepoong" is the original work. While C¨¦saire's work takes a de-colonialism and anti-imperialim¡¯s perspective, Choi In-hoon offers a prospect of reconciliation that has put past history behind it. These points of view by C¨¦saire and Choi In-hoon can be seen as some of the potential deep structures that appear in countries with colonized experience. This study analyzed and compared the works of two authors who parodied Shakespeare's works, which could be seen as being in the position of colonialists, and examined the possibility of continuous rewriting of history. Through this, we wanted to think about the possibility of rewriting history from various perspectives and the relationship between literature, and to discuss the need to raise the constant problem of history that remains in the deep structure of the colonized people. The possibility of rewriting history here does not refer to a new description of history through newly discovered historical evidence. The possibility of rewriting history to think through the works of C¨¦saire or Choi In-hoon is to leave open the possibility of various perspectives on history through literary imagination.
