    The purpose of this study is to investigate the relative influence of self-determination and happiness promotion activities on the happiness of university students and to provide basic meaningful data for the promotion of happiness of university students. For this study, 227 university students from N and B universities in Chungcheongnam-do were surveyed and analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results of this study are as follows. First, when examining the relationship between self-determination, happiness promotion activities, and the flourishing of university students, higher self-determination, higher flourishing and higher happiness promotion activities resulted in the higher flourishing of university students. Second, when examining the effect of self-determination and happiness promotion activities on the flourishing of university students, the flourishing of university students increased as self-determination and happiness promotion activities increased, and self-determination had a higher relative influence than happiness promotion activities. Through these results, the study provides basic data to understand the fundamental approach of how to develop efforts and to individually or externally support for promoting the fluency of happiness of university students before full-fledged employment and choosing a career.
