It can be said that a foreign policy and its strategy, of the Socialist Yugoslavia during a Korean War is ¡°conversion to Pro-West and Anti-Soviet." The Korean War which broke when Yugoslavia was in a very difficult situation since the Cominform conflict in 1948, while its satellite states menaced it caused the necessity of active foreign policy, that is to say, conversion to Pro-West to escape from War threat.
Based on the background, I will search changes in the foreign policy of Yugoslavia after Cominform conflict in 1948, namely how her foreign policy (Anti-Soviet and Pro-West) was settled, what were its process and keynote, and what were its foreign lesson and argument about that during the Korean War.
In this paper, first of all, I will analysis an international and foreign situation of Yugoslavia during the Korean War, for understanding of a change of Yugoslavia's foreign policy. And then I will study how Yugoslavia determined to change in Anti-Soviet after the Koran War, based on its Pro-West policy and its strategy in foreign policy. With this analysis, I will also study which foreign lesson Yugoslavia acquired from the experience of Korean War and what was contents with regard to its participation in NATO.
