Myeong(��)��Cheong(�[) periods' Dangan(�n��), Eun(��) ruins' shell-and-bone characters and Donhwang(�ػ�) Buddhist scriptures are collectively called as three discoveries of Chinese modern cultural history. Junggukjeilyeoksadanga ngwan(�Ї���һ�vʷ�n���^) is a national institution to keep the official document of Myeong��Cheong period governments and imperial families. In the institution, only three thousands odd Myeong period document are kept, including Joseon(���r)'s ��Joseonyeongjeopchensadogamdocheonguigwe(���rӭ����ʹ凱O减d�x܉)�� that was the document of Dogamdocheong(凱O减d). Joseon government set up temporarily Dogamdocheong to greet Myeong envoy. This writer tried basic discussion on that document for the first time as a sinologist at an unworthy manuscript ��An important factual evidence between Joseon and late Myeong - Opinion about Joseon's official document <Joseonyeongjeopchensadogamdocheonguigwe>��(���W�g�¿��� 2005.9). Through further study, this writer discovered the later part of the document, covering from August Manryeok(�f��) 48th year (1620, Joseon Gwanghaegun 12th year) to December Cheongye(�솙) 1st year (1621, Joseon Gwanghaegun 13th year), then compiled to separate paper ��Cheongye 1st year April reception Dogamdocheong Uigwe(Taechang Cheongye)��. Moreover, as ��Jo seonyeongjeopchensadogamdocheonguigwe�� is the only official document preserved in China, it is necessary to study more the rare document.
Korea and China are very close neighboring country, having long cultural relations. In history, Joseon Dynasty had absorbed chinese culture and other foreign cultures, and had created its own national cultural tradition. Uigwe(�x܉), usually meaning Buddhist Uigwe, was originated from Sanskrit 'kalpa su^tra' and disseminated with Buddhism to China. It is the collective name of scriptures recording Buddhist ceremonies and rules. Joseon Dynasty Uigwe is a unique court culture record that Joseon Dynasty had compiled national ceremonies in certain forms, based on Confucianism. It contains the royal family's important activities for six hundreds or more (1392~1910) years and includes cultural activities such as marriages, funerals, banquets, envoy receptions and so on. At 2007' 8th UNESCO Documentary Heritage IAC, ��Joseon Dynasty Uigwe�� was designated as UNESCO's Memory of theWorld Register. Cheongye period ��Joseonyeongjeopchensadogamdocheonguigwe�� is the only Joseon Dynasty Uigwe copy preserved in China and also isa raw record on the exchanges between Joseon and China during the 17th Century Joseon's Gwanghaegun reign. Its main contents are not recorded in ��Myeongsilrok(�����)�� and ��Joseonsilrok(���r���)��, but there has not been regular discussions up to date between Korea and China scholars. This paper examined the official document and other historical literatures of China and Joseon to restore certain historical facts not known widely and to ask teachings from masters.
