    This study was conducted to analyze the demands for desirable multicultural education through focus group interviews targeting the experts who are operating multicultural education and to develop multicultural education practical problem solving model which could be practiced in middle school technology and home economics class. Study results showed first, multicultural education experts sympathized that Korean society doesnโ€™t have much recognition and understanding about minority group even though Korean society is rapidly changing to a multicultural society. Study results suggested school education should be executed first as the action plan for multicultural education and food culture experience learning is most effective for education contents. Second Practical problem solving model based on teaching-learning program was developed for multicultural education classes in technology and home economics class by reflecting the diagnostic demand research results. Teaching-learning process, which is developed by reflecting expertsโ€™ demands in this study, is expected to be practically helpful to realize bidirectional multicultural education by solving the problems in everyday life through technology and home economics class.
