ABSTRACT
Objectives: Recently, our society is the trend of rapid globalization and marriage of two individuals with various nationalities is increaing. In this study, we will examine how the multicultural family members are adapting to Korean food culture and how to utilize traditional Korean fermented foods in order to adapt quickly to Korean culture. We will investigate the ways to enhance utilization of traditional Korean fermented foods for multicultural family members.
Methods: The literatures on the subject (2000~present) were collected and reviewed to identify specific issues (food culture of multicultural family and utilization of traditional Korean fermented food) and analyzed for the data.
Results: Multicultural families whose marriage immigrant women are leading the diet are maladjusted to Korean food culture. Therefore, irregular dietary life and various nutrition problems such as increased underweight women.????
