1.Type-I Hybrid ARQ
: - Most simple type of the types of the H-ARQ.
- Each block use one or two codes and code the data for error detection and
correction.
- Transfer efficiency decreases when channel surr-ounding is good for need of header
that detect, and correct error in FEC.
- But it increases where surrounding is good.
2.Type-II Hybrid ARQ.
: - If retransmission requirements occur at first Tx, transmitter gives data
decreasing redundancy in next Tx.
- When transmitter give data, it transforms additional information of the error
correction code to reduce overhead by channel code.
- Additional information are not decoded to only itself. So performance is effected
if first packet is .
