Teaching context:
UCR Extension class 15 low intermediate students; mixed nationalities, 15-43years old.
Objectives: a. Students will repeat the medical symptoms.
b. Students will ask about the medical problem and give the advice for that.
c. Students will do matching activities, a game and one role play activity.
Topic: Asking / giving medical advice.
Functions:
Describing health problem.
Give medical advice.
Ask for help about health problems.
Target Expression:
You should take some vitamin C.
I have a terrible headache.
You had better sleep.
New Vocabulary:
to have a sore throat

OHP 1. Statistics about cold (page 8 one copy).
