Louisville Metro Police Department has arrested a man and charged him with murder in connection to a shooting near Dairy Kastle last month.LMPD arrested 35-year-old Demetrius Johnson Monday afternoon in connection to the shooting that happened on April 20 in the 600 block of Eastern Parkway.Police had responded to the area and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition, where he died three weeks later.According to an arrest slip, Johnson was caught on surveillance in the area where the man was shot.Johnson is charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.He's scheduled to be arraigned in court Tuesday at 9 a.m.
