Louisville's most inspirational dog was honored by Metro Council on Thursday.Ethan the dog was found nearly dead in January 2021 outside the Kentucky Humane Society. His journey to recovery brought hope to many struggling with the pandemic.Earlier this year, Ethan won the American Humane Hero Dog of the Year. More than a million people voted in total.And on Thursday, Metro Council invited him, his human father, Jeff Calloway, and the incoming CEO of the Kentucky Humane Society to be recognized for Ethan's achievement.Councilwoman Amy Holton Stewart read a proclamation in his honor.Watch more Ethan stories below:
