Updated post positions, odds for 145th Kentucky Derby
The field for Kentucky Derby 145 has changed after the morning-line favorite scratched out of the race.
The Derby post position draw happened Tuesday, and is a traditional pill pull in which horses' entry blanks are pulled simultaneously with a numbered pill to determine what stall a horse will break from the starting gate.
The positions changed Wednesday when Omaha Beach, position 12, scratched due to a breathing issue.

IMPORTANT NOTE: With the scratch of Omaha Beach, Bodexpress will draw into the field and break from post position 20. All horses outside of Omaha Beach (post positions 13-20) will move over one position in the starting gate, but their numbers stay the same. Haikal has also scratched out of the field.
Maximum Security is now the favorite.
