'Wheel of Fortune' Behind the Scenes: Vanna's dresses

"We do 12 shows in two days and so I get approximately 50 gowns and we pick the top 12, the ones that look the best, fit the best, feel the best. And we pick those 12 and they go back because most are samples from designers, so I don't get to keep any of them," Vanna said.
She said on occasion, they have let her borrow some of the dresses for special events.
Pat's clothes are color-coordinated with Vanna's, but his are purchased for him.
"So it's great. Every year we go to New York on a shopping trip to designer places. I pick out clothes, we actually buy them. When we are through, I give them to charity or I sneak them at home," Pat said.
Both of the popular hosts have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Vanna has an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for most frequent claps.
She has clapped more than 4 million times in the 32 seasons. That's based on an average of 606 claps per episode.
It's not the claps or the clothes that make this show so popular, it's the hosts. After working together for three decades, they still like each other.
"We are good friends. We have never had one argument in 32 years. That's great, isn't it? I think it's because we don't see each other every day. Seriously, we show up every couple of weeks, 'Hey, how's it going? How are the kids?' And then we don't see each other for two more weeks," Vanna said.
The gowns are on loan, but she buys the shoes she wears and has more pairs than she can count.
