Jamarcus Glover arrested in Louisville on drug trafficking charges, using minors to distribute
Jamarcus Glover has been arrested on drug trafficking charges, according to the St. Matthews Police Department.
According to court documents, Glover and at least two other men were trafficking drugs out of a home in the Taylor Berry neighborhood.
An arrest report said he was taken into custody after police conducted a search warrant of a home in the 3000 block of Taylor Boulevard.
Glover allegedly used kids under the age of 18 to help him transport and sell heroin, fentanyl, and other illegal drugs.
Glover is charged with conspiracy to traffic drugs, unlawful transaction with a minor, engaging in organized crime and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
The arrest citation said two others were engaged in trafficking with Glover, but they were not named.
Police say they found narcotics and several firearms along with equipment used for weighing and packaging narcotics at the Taylor Boulevard home.
Glover was one of the main targets of the Louisville Metro Police Department's drug investigation that resulted in the botched raid at Breonna Taylor's apartment in March 2020.
The raid ultimately led to Taylor being shot and killed after LMPD officers fired into the apartment.
During the time of the raid, Glover was in jail for a previous conviction.
Glover was sentenced on three of four separate drug-related cases in November 2021. He was sentenced to 120 days home incarceration and put on a five-year probation under the condition that he remain in Mississippi.
